The Student Records office process transient request for students that are currently attending Augusta Technical College, but wish to take one or more courses at another institution to transfer back to Augusta Tech.
Transient Status Requirements:
- Student must be in Good Standing
- Course must be required for the student’s current program of study
- Student must meet all pre-requisite and test score requirements
- Student must be a current student at Augusta Technical College
- Course must meet transfer requirements as defined on the transfer credit page
How to apply for transient status:
- For an online course at another TCSG college
- Fill out an online application at https://gvtc.tcsg.edu/
- For an on campus course at another TCSG college
- Complete a transient request form
- For a course at a non-TCSG college or university
- Complete a transient request form
Note: It is the student’s responsibility to have an official transcript sent to Augusta Technical College at the end of the semester in order to have the course transferred to Augusta Tech.
