Augusta Technical College is dedicated to providing high-quality technical educational experiences for our students, meeting the demand for a skilled workforce, and contributing to the overall success of the counties we serve: Burke, Columbia, Lincoln, McDuffie and Richmond counties.

Throughout my career, I have discovered that education is an ever-changing process. It is not just the buildings that are changing, and how we deliver information to students, but also how students begin to define their “collegiate experience” is also fast forwarding. With the introduction of dual enrollment throughout Georgia institutions of higher learning, the college experience for some students is beginning as early as the ninth grade, giving a student the ability to learn college-level material and earn college credits while still enrolled in high school. In just nine short years, today’s first graders will be sitting in our classes and labs. As a college, we need to be forward-thinking in how this younger population likes to learn.  The traditional education model will need to adjust to a new type of learner. When, where and how we deliver education will be much different in the coming years.

Evaluating processes and procedures, incorporating new technologies, and adjusting course content is an ongoing cycle. Planning for the future of the college is critical. Exciting a new generation of learners inspires us to keep pushing forward with campus enhancements, new classroom technologies, and a good overall experience for students who have made an important first step in their collegiate career.

The College continues to offer the most affordable and accessible options for education with your choice of learning environment from online, hybrid, or the traditional classroom. Whether you plan to pursue a technical career, enhance your current profession, complete a degree, diploma, or certificate, or just enrich your life, Augusta Tech can assist you with over 100 programs in the divisions of Allied Health Sciences and Nursing; Arts & Sciences, Learning Support, and Personal Services; Business, Public Safety, and Early Childhood Care/Education; Industrial and Engineering Technology; and Information Technology. Our focus is and has always been the success of our students and graduates.  We encourage you to explore our website, contact an admissions advisor, and enroll in classes today.

Again, welcome to Augusta Technical College. We look forward to sharing this collegiate experience with you.
