ADMISSIONS TESTING ALERT: Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Technical College System of Georgia colleges have waived Accuplacer Next Generation Admissions test as a requirement for acceptance. The TCSG colleges are suspending the provisions of the attached Admission Procedure 6.2.1p that requires student testing and submission of official transcripts for purpose of admission.  This change will be in effect for the upcoming Fall (August 2020 - January 2021) and Spring (January 2021 - May 2021) semesters. Dates are subject to change. Augusta Technical College will continue to use reasonable measure to evaluate students' readiness for specific programs that are consistent with the academic standards.
This waiver does not apply to Dual Enrollment or Basic Law Enforcement Applicants.

The Testing Center administers both paper-and-pencil tests and computer-administered standardized tests that support the programs of Augusta Technical College and address community needs for admissions tests, distance learning, workforce development, credentials, and licenses. Services provided through the Testing Center are available to currently enrolled students and members of the community.  Special accommodations are provided for test candidates with appropriately documented disabilities.
