CA - On Campus (<=50% Online), Courses must meet at least 50% of the contact hours on campus. Most of these courses meet 100% on campus.
OA - Asynchronous (100% Online) All required course activities are online and asynchronous (not live). There are no on-campus requirements. These courses may require 1 to 4 proctored assessments.
OS - Synchronous (100% Online) Some of the class hours will be live web meetings. Synchronous (Live) dates and times will be listed in the course schedule. There are no on-campus classes. There are no on-campus requirements. These courses may require 1 to 4 in-person proctored assessments.
TCSG Connect - TCSG Connect courses allow a student to register for courses taught by faculty at another college in the Technical College System of Georgia. This allows students access to courses that may not have been available during the desired semester at Augusta Technical College.
Blended (>50% to <100% Online) Some of the course is live, and some is self-paced with weekly due dates. The live sessions can be on campus or online. See the course schedule for the time and place of the meetings. These courses require 1 to 4 proctored assessments.

To ensure that students are comfortable with accessing and using Blackboard, Badge Training is a tutorial and assessment designed to increase a student's chance of success. - Blackboard - Go to the Blackboard login page. Use your Smartweb user name and password to login Blackboard. Students will not see courses until the first day of the semester.

Georgia Online Learning and Development (GOLD)
Georgia Online Learning and Development (GOLD) hosts a central registration site for online instruction in the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). Online courses from each TCSG college are available through GOLD. Students enroll at Augusta Tech but may use GOLD to sign up for online courses at any other TCSG college.
