Andrew Robert Aquino is Controller at Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners in North Augusta, where he has worked since 2018. The company is recognized as one of the top horse
racing partnerships in the United States.
He completed the Accounting program at Augusta Technical College in 2015. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Grand Canyon University in 2017. In 2023, he completed a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Equine Management from Asbury University.
Mr. Aquino is very active in the world of horses. He has served as treasurer of Blue Moon Thoroughbred Aftercare Program, which was established by Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners to take care of the needs of retired race horses. He likewise served as treasurer of Great Oak Equine Assisted Programs, which provides therapeutic horse riding experiences for people with emotional, cognitive, or physical challenges. He has also
served as accountant for the South Carolina Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association.
He is also active as a volunteer beyond the equine community. At his alma mater Augusta Tech, he site on the the Advisory Board of the Accounting Department. He also was the treasurer for Teddy Milner’s successful campaign for Mayor of Aiken in 2023.Mr. Aquino enjoys music. He plays both the piano and drums. He also enjoys being active both on the traditional golf course and in the newer sport of disc golf.
He and his wife Meagan are both Augusta natives and graduates of Augusta Tech. However, they did not meet at the College -- they have known each other since they were five years old. Meagan is a CT and X-ray technician. The couple lives in North Augusta with their two-year-old son August. They are expecting a second son in January 2024.
