The Student Nurse Association at Augusta Technical College (SNAATC) is a student-led affiliate of the National Student Nurses’ Association (NSNA) and the Georgia Association of Nursing Students (GANS) at the national and state levels, respectively.
The SNA serves to empower nursing at Augusta Technical College by providing opportunities for leadership, professional development, community involvement, and peer support.

NSNA:

National Student Nurses Association is a membership organization representing 50,000 students enrolled in state-approved Associate, Diploma, Baccalaureate, and Direct Entry Master’s degree programs. RN to BSN completion programs are also eligible for membership.NSNA helps to prepare students for Registered Nurse licensure and to form their professional identity in nursing.
NSNA’s mission is to mentor students preparing for initial licensure as registered nurses, and to convey the standards, ethics, and skills that students will need as responsible and accountable leaders and members of the profession.
Founded in 1952, NSNA is a nonprofit organization for students enrolled in associate, baccalaureate, diploma, and generic graduate nursing programs. It is dedicated to fostering the professional development of nursing students.
