New Members Appointed to Augusta Technical College Board of Directors

Augusta Technical College announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors: Grace Scott, Lynthia R. Ross, and Rhonda C. Davis, PE.

New Members Appointed to Augusta Technical College Board of Directors


Augusta, GA - September 17, 2026

 

Augusta Technical College announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors: Grace Scott, Lynthia R. Ross, and Rhonda C. Davis, PE. The new board members bring decades of combined leadership experience in human resources, strategic communications, and transportation engineering to support the College's mission.

"These three leaders bring exactly the kind of expertise and community commitment that will strengthen our board as we continue to grow and serve the CSRA," said Dr. Kendricks D. Hooker, Augusta Technical College President. "Their diverse backgrounds in workforce development, public affairs, and infrastructure will be a tremendous asset to Augusta Tech."

Grace Scott is an HR Business Partner & Organizational Development Manager at Ingevity in Waynesboro, GA, with more than 20 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, engineering, and corporate operations. She holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Mercer University and is completing a Master of Science in Management and Leadership at Purdue Global. Scott is active in community and STEM advocacy work across the region

Lynthia R. Ross is Founder and Chief Strategist of Crossroads Consulting Partners, LLC, and has more than 20 years of experience in strategic communications, public affairs, and community engagement. Her background includes senior roles as Global Head of Communications for Club Car, Chief Communications Officer & Policy Strategist for the Richmond County School System, and Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Augusta-Richmond County. She holds a Master of Public Administration and a B.A. in Communications/Public Relations, both from Augusta University.

Rhonda C. Davis, PE, is Vice President of Transportation and Augusta Office Leader for Goodwyn Mills Cawood, LLC (GMC), where she oversees transportation strategy and client management across Georgia and South Carolina. A licensed Professional Engineer, she previously served with the Georgia Department of Transportation and holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

The College’s main campus is located in Augusta (Richmond County), with additional sites in Grovetown (Columbia County), Thomson (McDuffie County), and Waynesboro (Burke County). Classes are also offered at the Georgia Cyber and Innovation Training Center, and the School of Health Sciences is located at the College’s Summerville site at Piedmont, serving students across the Central Savannah River Area through five academic schools.
