College Receives $182,724 in USDA Grant Funds

AUGUSTA TECHNICAL COLLEGE RECEIVES USDA GRANT FUNDING FOR AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY AND MEDICAL ASSISTING PROGRAMS


Augusta Technical College has received $182,724 in grant funding from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Agency to purchase equipment for its Automotive Technology ($44,750) and Medical Assisting ($137,974) programs.

“We are very pleased to receive support from the United States Department of Agriculture for their support of our campuses in our rural communities.  Their support will enhance student development and success, which in turn, will support the economies in those communities,” stated Terry D. Elam, President of Augusta Technical College.  “Augusta Technical College is committed to building community and business partnerships as well as providing training and services that support local workforce development.”
