Faculty are encouraged to bring their classes to the Library for a 30 minute orientation. These sessions are conducted by librarians and are designed to introduce your students, faculty and staff to the library's wealth of resources and to strengthen their research skills. Sessions cover both paper and electronic resources.
The most effective sessions are those where the instructor has given the students an assignment requiring the use of library resources. If you have an assignment, please make sure to send it to the library prior to your orientation.

There are 4 study rooms on the 2nd floor on the Augusta Campus within the ITC building on the Augusta Campus. Study rooms are available only to ATC students for the purpose of quiet space to study or for study groups and projects. Study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may not be reserved.
The Library offers two types of study zones on the Augusta Campus. The main floor is a collaborative zone allowing for group projects and limited conversation. Students using this area can quietly work on projects together while respecting students around them.
The second floor is a designated quiet study zone. Students and patrons using this area must remain quiet, may not use cell phones, and have minimal conversation out of respect of other patrons.
Library computers are provided for students, faculty, staff and community patrons to enhance and support the teaching and learning needs of Augusta Technical College. Priority use is for research and course related assignments. Viewing unacceptable or offensive materials as well as copyright abuse can result in loss of library privileges.
It is the policy of the technical college libraries to allow currently enrolled students or employed faculty and staff of each respective TCSG technical college to access and utilize each college’s library and borrow materials from those libraries. Each technical college assumes fiscal responsibility for materials not returned by their constituent members. All TCSG libraries are included in the agreement.
It is the policy of the College that children are not permitted on campus except for special functions (i.e. open house).
