Stuckey's Corporation
School of Business

Alina C. Walls is the Controller for Stuckey’s Corporation based in Wrens, Georgia. In her role, she oversees all financial activities of Stuckey’s, an 87-year-old company that manufactures and distributes pecan snacks and candies which are sold in numerous retail outlets, including convenience stores and grocery chains nationwide.

Ms. Walls obtained her GED in 2011 and later obtained her Associate Degree in Accounting with honors in 2022, both from Augusta Technical College. As a student, she served as Treasurer for the Alpha Chi Delta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa honor society helping with several community projects including Honors in Action. She was a recipient of the Oberdolrf Scholarship. She was chosen as the Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (G.O.A.L.) recipient for 2022 by Augusta Tech. As a graduate, she continues to serve as a member of the Accounting Advisory Committee.

As a high school dropout and a teenage mother, Ms. Walls always wanted the best for her children. She obtained her GED to show them that they can always achieve amazing things no matter what challenges are put before them. She hopes that sharing her stories of all she overcame will inspire others.

Her motto is, “If better is possible, good is not enough.’”
