Sonya M. Burns has been with Augusta Technical College since January of 2000.
She serves as the instructor for the Medical Assisting Program on the Waynesboro/Burke Campus.
She is also certified by the American Heart Association as a Basic Life Support instructor.
Sonya has been a Medical Assistant since 1989 and has work experience in dialysis,
internal medicine and OB-GYN. She holds an Associate degree in Applied Technology from
Augusta Technical College and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Brenau University.
