Wal-Mart presents check to benefit Adult Education.

The Wal-Mart in Thomson recently celebrated their grand reopening and also presented checks to several organizations in the community. The Augusta Technical College Foundation wasa recipient of a $1,000 contribution. Community Coordinator Cindy Nelson (left) presented Beverly Peltier (right) with the $1,000 contribution as Wal-Mart employee Denise Dobbin looks on. The newly remodeled and expanded store now offers a new food and produce market. Wal-Mart has been a supporter of technical eductaion for several years now having partnered with the Augusta Technical College foundation through its community grants program.
