The annual Taste of the Technical Colleges was held on January 29th at the Depot in Atlanta, Georgia. The event features instructional programs from the Technical College System of Georgia colleges and provides an opportunity for legislators to learn more about technical education.

Augusta Tech's Surgical Technology Program headed up by Gene Burke was one of the featured programs along with the Culinary Arts Department.

The various Culinary Arts programs from around the state provide the food for the event, again giving legislators an opportunity to see the variety of capabilities the faculty and students have.
