Pierce Merry, Jr.
1924-2008

Mr. Pierce Merry, Jr. was a champion of technical education since the Augusta Technical College Foundation was first formed back in 1987. He served as President of the Augusta Technical College Foundation from 1987 to 1992 and was recognized as an Emeritus Trustee in 2003 for his support of the college.

Mr. Merry visited the campus during our annual retiree brunches and always had a special place in his heart for Augusta Tech. He will be greatly missed by all of us who knew him.
