Dr. Paul Fischer with scholarship recipient Kathryn Chastain.
Dr. Paul Fischer of the Center for Primary and Lisa Nagle, Program Chair for the Medical Assisting Program presented a scholarship to Kathryn Chastain, a graduate of the Medical Assisting Program, as President Terry Elam looked on. Kathryn just received her diploma at the January 10th graduation ceremony held at the Bell Auditorium. Kathryn's daughters are also medical assistants and they encouraged her to go to college and earn her diploma in Medical Assisting.
The scholarship was established by Dr. Fischer through his financial support of the Lisa Nagle Medical Assisting Scholarship Endowment. The endowment was named in honor of Lisa for her hard work in the program.
Dr. Fischer is a member of the college's foundation board and also serves as the Advisory Chair of the Medical Assisting Program.
