A student draws blood during annual blood project.
Employees from across the Augusta campus participated in the blood project.
The 2008 Senior Medical Assisting Class completed their annual blood project on March 4th. This annual event involves teamwork and all class members' participation using the 10 Work Ethic traits to put their learned skills to work and create a project which includes: preparing the invitation to participate, scheduling appointments and managing the appointment book including no shows and walk in clients, drawing blood, performing tests for cholesterol, triglyceride, glucose, and hemoglobin and returning results to clients. It was another success with over 30 participants. Thanks for continuing to support the efforts of making our students the best that they can be.
