Nominees for GOAL Attend Orientation
Twenty-seven students attended the orientation session held on campus today for the Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) Competition. David Towles, the 2007 Augusta Tech Student of the Year, shared his thoughts on being selected as the person to represent Augusta Technical College last year in Atlanta. In addition, David's nominating instructor, Patsy Finch of the Cosmetology Program, also shared some of her insights as to the role that the nominating instructor plays in the process of supporting and encouraging the student representative.

The next step in the process for the twenty-seven nominees are panel interviews by the internal Augusta Tech judges.
