Bonita Jefferies Jenkins, Director of Marketing & Public Relations, of Augusta Technical College was selected as a candidate for Leadership Augusta Class of 2009. Upon satisfactory completion of the requirements, she will graduate in May 2009.
Leadership Augusta takes participants through an extensive twelve month educational program which is intended to develop and cultivate future leaders for the CSRA.
Past Augusta Technical College participants include President Terry Elam (Executive Forum-Class of 2002), Ella Jones, Vice President of Burke County Campus (Class of 2002), JoAnne Robinson, Dean of Business & Personal Services (Class of 2005), Beverly Peltier, Director of Institutional Advancement (Class of 2006), Dr. Melissa Frank-Alston, Vice President of Student Services (Class of 2007), Stephanie Bowie, Assistant Director of Adult Literacy and Dr. Lisa Palmer, Director of Business & Industry Services, both graduates of the Class of 2008.
