Waynesboro Early Child Care Education Program Volunteers in a Big Way
Monica Natoli's students from the Waynesboro Early Child Care and Education Program volunteered their time in a big way. The students helped paint murals on the walls of the old Blakeney Elementary School. The building is 50 years old and in dire need of repairs. Head Start students attend school at this location and the Augusta Tech students wanted to make it a much brighter and nicer place for the children.

Students donated their time on a couple of Saturdays and in between classes to paint. They also recruited additional help to pressure wash the outside breeze way. The students did such a great job that the local newspaper will be covering the before and after photos.
