Gerald Hendrick and fiancee Jennifer Jones share a special moment after receiving the AFCEA Scholarship.

Gerald Hendrick, an Electronics Technology student on the main campus of Augusta Technical College, was the recipient of a $500 scholarship from the Augusta-Fort Gordon Chapter of the Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) on August 9th at a ceremony held at Fort Gordon. Mr. Hendrick plans to use the money to advance his education.
