Augusta Tech to Break Ground for Columbia County Campus September 14
A new era in education will begin September 14, 2007, with groundbreaking ceremonies for the new Columbia County Campus of Augusta Technical College. The groundbreaking will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the campus site located at Horizon South Parkway at the cell tower. Follow the directional signs to the groundbreaking. Augusta Technical College President Terry D. Elam will preside over the groundbreaking for the new campus.

Driving Directions:

From I-20 take Exit 190 (Grovetown, Georgia)

Traveling West on I-20 ( from Columbia, S.C.)  - Turn left onto Highway 388 Horizon South Parkway Traveling East on I-20 (from Atlanta, Georgia) -  Turn right onto Highway 388 Horizon South Parkway

Travel approximately 1.5 miles
Look for the “Welcome to Grovetown” sign and the cell tower on the right
Enter at the cell tower for the ceremony
