Pat Brucker displays the check establishing book scholarships
at Augusta Tech.

Linn Brucker wanted to do something special for his wife, Pat, for her upcoming retirement from Augusta Tech. He accomplished that goal by establishing the Pat Brucker Book Scholarships with an initial gift of $1,000 and a pledge to fund an additional three years worth of book scholarships. Knowing how much Pat loved books, Linn worked with the Augusta Tech Foundation to find the perfect way to recognize her service to the college. The check was presented as a surprise to her at a family gathering in July.

Pat retired from her position as librarian at the Main Campus of Augusta Tech after 18 years of service on June 30.
