Dr. Annabelle Lewis received the Edith Carter Outstanding Service Award presented by the members of SACCR. The award is in recognition of those individuals who have demonstrated exemplary service and have actively supported the goals of the Southeastern Association for Community College Research. The award is restricted to members or former members who have exhibited professional leadership and outstanding service to SACCR. Nominees for the award must have been a member of SACCR for at least five years and not a member of the current executive board. The nominee must also have served as an officer of the association; served as a State Coordinator or in an appointed position on the Executive Board; conducted workshops and/or presented papers at the annual meeting; demonstrated exemplary service in a significant way that has advanced the goals of SACCR and attended and actively participated in five or more annual meetings.
