The Early Childhood Care and Education Development Center has achieved state accreditation by the Standards of Care program administered by Bright from the Start, a program of the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning. Standard of Care, a voluntary program, is the state's quality standard for child care learning centers. The program is designed to maximize learning opportunities for children and to raise the level of quality in center-based child care programs.
The Center of Distinction accreditation has only been awarded to three other centers in the CSRA and approximately 55 centers out of 8,000 statewide.
