Gene Burke receives the Visionary Award at the State Assembly meeting.

Gene Burke, Director of Surgical Technology, was presented with a "Visionary Award" at the Georgia State Assembly of the Association of Surgical Technology bi-annual meeting held on March 8, 2008. This award was presented to Mr. Burke by the State Assembly President, Mrs. Kathleen Demitrias. The honor was bestowed on Burke because of the vision that he has in helping the state assembly educate future and current Surgical Technologist.
