Melissa Edison received the 2008 Spring Medical Assisting Scholarship presented by Lisa Nagle, Program Chair, and Dr. Paul Fischer, the Medical Assisting Scholarship Endowment benefactor.

The scholarship is presented to a 5th quarter medical assisting student with demonstrated need, a 3.0 GPA or higher and a letter of recommendation.

Dr. Fischer established the endowment to help advance the education and future careers of medical assisting students.
