Bob Castro, a documentary film maker from Atlanta, spent the day on the campus of Augusta Tech filming a portion of his documentary on the life of Sister Clare, a nun at the Convent of St. Helena. Sister Clare recently celebrated her 100th birthday and Mr. Castro is documenting her life story.

Sister Clare and the daughter of Gwinn Huxley Nixon, the cabin's builder, Mrs. Eleanora Hoernle, spent a couple of hours sharing their fond memories of the cabin. During the 1960's, the nuns used the cabin as their home while the convent was being built.
