Bernard Simmons, a graduate of Augusta Tech's ECET (Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology) program was selected as the ECET Student of the Year at Southern Polytechnic State University where he is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree. This distinction was determined by the department of ECET comprising twenty faculty members.
