The 2007 GOAL luncheon was held on the main campus of Augusta Tech on April 25th. GOAL nominees and their instructors were treated to lunch as the 2007 GOAL Student of the Year, David Towles, was honored by college. The Optimist Club of Augusta sponsors the annual GOAL competition which encourages instructors to nominate their best and brightest students to possibly represent the college at the statewide GOAL competition.
At the luncheon, the 2006 GOAL Student of the Year, Michael Pruitt, officially passed the torch to David Towles who will compete in Atlanta in May for the statewide title.
