Augusta Technical College GOAL winner David Towles traveled to the Heart of Georgia Technical College in Dublin this week to meet with other GOAL winners in the East Central Georgia Consortium. The purpose of the meeting was for the winners to meet and do some last minute preparation for the state GOAL competition which begins the week of May 21. The East Central Georgia Consortium consists of Augusta Technical College, Central Georgia Technical College, Heart of Georgia Technical College, Middle Georgia Technical College, Sandersville Technical College, and Swainsboro Technical College.

In addition, Ms. Ella S. Jones of the GOAL State Planning Committee; Mr. John Richardson, Dean of Student Services at Augusta Technical College; and Ms. Patsy Finch, Nominating Instructor, participated in the consortium meeting.
