Augusta Technical College Hosts Ribbon Cutting for EMS Building
Augusta Technical College's Board of Directors, faculty and staff invited friends of the community to a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Emergency Services Building (EMS) on the Augusta campus. Acting President Janice Richardson welcomed everyone to the historical event and remarks were heard from the chairman of the Augusta Tech's Board of Directors,  representatives from the Mayor's office, Fire Department and Gold Cross EMS with closing remarks from Mr. Terry D. Elam, President of Augusta Tech and Interim President of Savannah Tech. As a finale to the ceremony, the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce hosted the cutting of the ribbon followed by tours of the building.

The new EMS Building will house the Paramedic Emergency Medical Technology and Fire Sciences programs.
