The World Champion Fire Fighting team from Fort Gordon includes (second from left) Assistant Fire Chief Matt Williams, Marcus Peterson, Jeffrey Phillips, Anthony Dobbins (Augusta Tech Paramedic Student) and Brandon Cunningham (Augusta Tech Paramedic Student).

Augusta Tech Paramedic students, Brandon Cunningham and Anthony Dobbins, recently participated on a Fort Gordon fire fighting team that went to the World Chamionships in Las Vegas. Already a nationally ranked team, the Fort Gordon team took first place at the World Championship competition. Brandon also won the World Champion individual category.

Congratulations to our students and the Fort Gordon team for bringing a world title to Augusta.
