Kellogg Snacks of Augusta was presented with a Manufacturing Appreciation Week plaque from Governor Perdue's office for being nominated earlier this year for Manufacturer of the Year 2007. A company earns a nomination for excellence in areas of corporate repsonsibility, economic impact in Georgia and workforce excellence. All of these qualities are exemplified by Kellogg Snacks. The plaque was presented to plant manager, Jay Kuhn, and several members of the Kellogg marketing team by Augusta Tech President Terry Elam.

Manufacturers' Appreciation Week is held in each April in Atlanta.
