Augusta Tech Foundation Receives $10,000 Kellogg Grant

The Augusta Technical College Foundation is pleased to announce that Kellogg's Corporate Citizenship Fund has approved a $10,000 grant to be used to purchase equipment in the college's business and industry training programs.

Kellogg Plant Manager, Jay Kuhn, presented the $10,000 check to Augusta Tech President Terry Elam.

President Elam stated, "We are pleased to accept this most generous investment in support of our work in the community. Maufacturers like Kellogg have understood the value that a technical education brings to their workforce and to their community as a whole."

Kellogg's Corporate Citizenship Fund is the charitable arm of the Kellogg Company. With 2006 sales of almost $11 billion, Kellogg Company (NYSE:K) is the world's leading producer of cereal and a leading producer of convenience foods. Kellogg's Augusta facility is located on Marvin Griffin Road.
