Practical Nursing Student Wins Scholarship

Practical Nursing student Tina King is the recipient of the Byrd Mize Scholarship from the Georgia Licensed Practical Nurses Association.
Tina King, LPN Student and recipient of the Byrd-Mize Scholarship

Tina King, a second quarter Practical Nursing student, has won the first ever Byrd-Mize Scholarship from the Georgia Licensed Practical Nurses Association. The $500 award was announced at the November convention held in Macon. Ms. King plans to pursue a career as a registered nurse.
