Foundation Nominates Winner of National Philanthropy Day Award

The Augusta Technical College Foundation nominated John Deere Commercial Products for a National Philanthropy Day (NPD) Award in the category of Outstanding Corporation for the support they provide not only to the Augusta Technical College Foundation but to the community as a whole. On November 14, the foundation will present the award to representatives of John Deere at a banquet held at the Augusta Country. This is the second time a nominee from Augusta Tech has been presented an NPD Award. Last year, the foundation nominated the Fort Gordon Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) for Outstanding Volunteer Group and they won the category.
