Rain did not dampen the spirits of the people that attended the Augusta Tech tree lighting on November 30 at Augusta Tech. Faculty, staff and students along with their family members helped welcome the holiday season to the campus of Augusta Tech.

Immediately following the tree lighting, people were treated to refreshments, songs, a reading of T'was the Night Before Christmas, and a visit from that jolly old Santa Claus.

Culinary Arts students treated those in attendance to a gingerbread house contest and the children overwhelming voted for the gingerbread castle.
