Students Partner With Manufacturers for Video Production
Students from Augusta Tech's videography program and Columbia County high school students have partnered together to help produce a video for John Deere Commercial Products. The video will be used as a company introduction video. The video is the first effort of a partnership between Columbia County's Chamber of Commerce, the Columbia County School System, Augusta Technical College and the National Science Center. The goal of the partnership is to try and get high school students interested in manufacturing and technological careers. The students will be working on a project for another local facility, Kennametal. Read more about this program in the Augusta Chronicle at http://chronicle.augusta.com/stories/100906/met_99780.shtml.
