Automotive Program Receives National Certification

Augusta Technical College's automotive training program has received national certification by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). Augusta Tech has been certified in the following areas: automatic transmission and transaxle, brakes, electrical electronic systems, engine performance, engine repair, heating and air conditioning, manual drive train and axles, and suspension and steering. The automotive program has been designated Automobile Master Certified.

To achieve this coveted recognition, the college's automotive training program underwent rigorous evaluation by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation. Nationally accepted standards of excellence in areas such as instruction, facilities and equipment were used.
