Winter 2009:

This quarter, I am teaching one Mathematics Modeling class, one Foundations of Mathematics classes, two Foundations of Mathematics classes online, and two Geometry and Trigonometry classes. Below are the test schedules and times when I am in class.

Also available here are the syllabi for the various classes I teach and the homework problems that my students are responsible for completing.

I've put up sample tests, worksheets, practice tests, and the notes I give in class as available for students to view. Some sheets can't be published online because of copyright issues, so please make sure if you miss a class you don't assume that everything is available here. Follow the Worksheets link to get to your class link.

Something I'm trying to do is get together links to topics that are covered in my classes so that those who need extra explanation or help, or those who are just plain curious, can go check out what's available on the web. Go to the Math Help page for that. Be aware, however, that it is always Under Construction, as they say.

I utilize, and strongly suggest my students do the same, a graphing program available at MathGV.com for free. It helps make the graphing of lines and various other functions easier if you can actually see what the graphs look like in general.

Since we are now starting to use the Compass test, many students have asked me for practice tests. This is what I found. I'm putting reading and writing on here, too, just in case.

You can also send me email if you like. I log on quite frequently, so I'll get it the same day. I'll try to respond on the same day, but sometimes my schedule gets in the way, so please don't wait until the last minute to ask me important questions!
