Program Outcomes

Program Outcomes are statements that describe what units of knowledge or skill students are expected to acquire from the program to achieve the ECET program's educational objectives.

Each graduate of the Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology program will demonstrate the following attributes:

  • An ability to identify and solve technical problems using the knowledge of principles, techniques, skills, and modern tools of the discipline
  • An ability to conduct, analyze, and interpret experiments and to apply creativity to design of systems and improvement of processes.
  • An ability to adapt to emerging applications of mathematics, science, and engineering technology.
  • An ability to communicate effectively through oral presentations and written reports.
  • An ability to function effectively on teams.
  • An ability to recognize the need to engage in lifelong learning and a commitment to quality, timeliness and continuous improvement
  • An ability to understand professional, ethical and social responsibilities, a respect for diversity and knowledge of societal and global issues
