Notes:
        A grade of "C" or higher is required for MAT 190/191, ACC 101, ENG 191, and all courses with a CIS prefix.

  1. MAT 190/191 is a prerequisite for all courses with a CIS prefix, except CIS 106. MAT 190 is recommended.
  2. CIS 106 is a prerequisite for all CIS courses and a prerequisite/co-requisite for CIS 1305
  3. CIS 1305 is a prerequisite for all language classes.
  4. Students must complete a minimum of 5 language classes with a minimum of 2 courses in the same language. Contact your advisor for recommended languages.
  5. An occupationally related elective must be a CIS course of business course approved by your advisor.
  6. One course is required in each of the following set: either MAT 190 or 191; either ECO 191, 192 or 193; and either ENG 195 or SPC 191.
  7. DIS 150 is an elective that provides the student an opportunity to write business applications in a business environment.  It may be complete at Augusta Tech or with a local employer. While not required, DIS 150 is highly recommended.
  8. An advanced programming language is required for CIS 214.
  9. An advanced programming language is a suggested prerequisite for CIS 112.
  10. These courses may not be offered at night. Contact your advisor to schedule these classes.
  11. CIS 105 is a prerequisite/corequisite for all language courses.
  12. A Humanities/Fine Arts course may consist of one of the following: ENG 193, HUM 191, ART 191, MUS 191.  ENG 193 is recommended.
