Things to expect in this class: Get ready to dive into databases in a big way. We will review the basics, tables, forms, reports and queries. From there we will explore why a field belongs in a table (the normalization process), and relationships between tables. We will place controls on forms and attach macros to them. Similar to CIS-2228, we will look at pivot tables and charts. We will also explore how databases can be manipulated using Visual Basic for Applications. From web pages that access databases to encrypting and decrypting databases, we will cover all the topics and round out your database skills. You can expect several database projects as well as written and interactive tests over the concepts.
