What to expect:  This is a course in the development of web sites using authoring software.  In late 2006 Microsoft retired its web design tool called FrontPage.  Microsoft Expression Web is part of a suite of software tools used for creating professional quality web sites.  This class is a students first exposure to web authoring software.  During the majority of the class students will built web sites without writing any code!  The Expression Web software writes all the HTML code necessary to display web sites in a variety of web browsers.  There are nine tutorials in this text.  Projects at the end of each tutorial will reinforce the material you learned in that tutorial.  Expect a hands-on, closed book test after the 3rd, 6th, and 9th tutorials.  I believe in hands-on learning.  Expect to be tested over the material by being able to demonstrate that you can perform the task at hand.
