Things to expect in this class: Otto the robot will introduce you to the idea of being stuck inside a computer's brain and have to issue commands to do move through the maze. Good luck steering him around corners! Expect to convert word problems into flowcharts. You will have to flowchart a common sequential file update problem with multiple decision paths. Learn to dissect a big problem into several smaller ones, then create a series of simple logical steps to the solution. Shell sorts, bubble sorts, selection sorts, stacks and linked lists. I'll explain them... you flowchart them.
