The Importance of Basic Industrial Safety Training

The Center for Advanced TEChnology - CADTEC - and area industry representatives developed a consolidated OSHA Basic Industrial Safety training program. The eight hour intensive program is designed to standardize training among area employers, while reducing duplicate training sessions.

Technological advances have brought and will continue to bring new workplace hazards. Today’s employers and employees face an increasingly complex and dangerous workplace environment. New laws demand compliance and understanding of these hazards by every employee.

The CADTEC Basic Industrial Safety training program raises the awareness level of your employees relating to industrial workplace hazards. The program, a full day of training, includes a one hour written test. Upon successful completion of the program and test, CADTEC issues a pocket certification card to your employee. CADTEC maintains documentation and a renewal tracking process for the certification process.
