Augusta Technical College Culinary Arts students recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for their new bake shop, Bake ‘n Take. Faculty, staff, and students were invited to sample the many breads and pastries prepared by the students. This ribbon cutting ceremony served to launch the new order taking bakery that will soon be available for the faculty, staff, and students of Augusta Tech.
Culinary Arts department head, Kathleen Fervan, was excited to see the students engaged in building their own "shop" and preparing to take on the new venture. Some of the baked goods presented were: jalapeno cheddar bread, sundried tomato and cheese bread, chocolate zucchini bread, and much more.
Plans to release menus and order forms are currently underway. Stay tuned to see what’s cooking at the all new Augusta Tech Bake ‘n Take!
