FAQ - GPA

1)    How can I find my GPA on SmartWeb?

2)    How is my GPA calculated?

For each class, multiply the number of credit hours by the grade (A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0).  These totals are called Quality Points.  Add all Quality Points for the total Quality Points.  Find the total number of credit hours. Divide the total number of Quality Points by the total number of credit hours.

3)    What does my GPA have to be to make the Dean's List?

The Dean's List is compiled quarterly.  In addition to completing ten credit hours for the quarter, a quarterly grade point average of 3.5 or higher is required.

4)    What does my GPA have to be to be an Honor Graduate?

Degree and diploma graduates who have achieved a program grade point average of 3.5 or higher are recognized as honor graduates at graduation.
