The Emphasis Is On You

SkillsUSA offers many opportunities to achieve as an individual also. You have unique talents and abilities that can be developed further. You can grow in skill proficiency and leadership through participation in the Professional Development Program. Section 3 of the Leadership Handbook is your plan for achievement. It outlines the Professional Development Program and what you must do to achieve the various levels of recognition. It also offers valuable advice on how to succeed on the job, work with people and present yourself as a leader.

Because this is your organization, Section 4 of the handbook has the national high school and college/postsecondary constitutions developed by members. SkillsUSA is a democratic organization, and you have the opportunity to amend your constitution. Section 4 also has a suggested constitution for your chapter.
