Beginning Class: 
Your instructor(s) will email you the information needed to begin your online course to your SmartWeb email account.  You should receive this information the day before classes begin.   Be sure to email your instructor once you have registered to establish contact.

User Name and Password for Angel: 
The user name and password for Augusta Tech students will be generated using their information listed in Banner.

User Name: 
The number 24, underscore, and your 900 student ID number (found on your schedule printed at Augusta Tech)
Example:   24_900xxxxxxx

Password: 
The first time that you log into Angel, the password will be the same as your user name. You will be prompted to change your password as soon as you log into Angel.  If you have previously changed your password in Angel, you will continue to use that one.

I Forgot My Password:
If you have forgotten your password for Angel, Click the I Forgot My Password option under the Log On box.  Type in your SmartWeb email address and your user will be emailed to you with the option to update your password. 

Email Address:  
Augusta Tech assigns every student an email address in SmartWeb.  Go to SmartWeb and enter your student ID number (900 number) to obtain your user and password.  You will use this email for communication with your instructors unless you are instructed to begin using the communication system within Angel.  Many home email addresses have restrictions or blocks from your ISP, so do not forward your SmartWeb email to a personal email.
